The SNRS 39TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE will be held in Memphis, TN, at The Peabody Hotel,  from Wednesday, February 19 - Friday, February 21, 2025. The SNRS Annual Conference is the focal point for those engaged in nursing research in the southern region and provides an opportunity for SNRS members to report ongoing and completed research as well as theoretical, conceptual, and methodological projects to colleagues.

UTMB School of Nursing and Chief Integration Officer, UTMB


Dr. Deborah J. Jones is a distinguished healthcare leader serving as the Senior Vice President and Dean at UTMB School of Nursing, where she also serves as Chief Integration Officer for UTMB Health. Throughout her career, Dr. Jones has driven growth and innovation, particularly in nursing education, by merging extensive experience in academic health sciences with strategic leadership. Through interprofessional research, she has significantly improved patient outcomes and reduced healthcare-associated infections. Dr. Jones's efforts have profoundly strengthened the nursing workforce and advanced interprofessional models of care, underscoring her pivotal role in healthcare and higher education.

Professor of Nursing & Neurology, UTHSC at Memphis


Dr. Anne Alexandrov is a Professor of Nursing & Neurology at the UTHSC, Memphis and Program Director for NET SMART, the leading post-graduate acute neurovascular fellowship for advanced practice providers in the world over 150 graduates on 4 continents. Her program of research focuses on novel methods for blood flow augmentation in acute stroke patients, with a secondary program of research focused on stroke systems of care. She is a past national President of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the immediate past President of the Association of Neurovascular Clinicians, and the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Stroke Clinician.
