Qualitative Research RIIG

The SNRS Qualitative Research Interest & Implementation Group (RIIG) is a collaborative community of clinicians, researchers, scholars, and students passionate about exploring, discussing, and advancing qualitative research methodologies. This group serves as a platform for SNRS members to facilitate collaboration among researchers, foster research skills, and engage in in-depth discussions about various qualitative research approaches in nursing, including phenomenology, grounded theory, ethnography, case studies, and narrative research.

The Qualitative RIIG provides opportunities for members to share their experiences, challenges, and successes in conducting qualitative research across different disciplines, and disseminate their research findings. It fosters an environment where participants can critique and refine their research designs, methodologies, and data analysis techniques. The RIIG is committed to identifying emerging issues within qualitative research and providing recommendations for future research

This RIIG is also a supportive network for emerging nursing researchers, offering mentorship and guidance as they navigate the complexities of qualitative inquiry. By fostering a vibrant community of inquiry and collaboration, the group contributes to advancing qualitative research as a valuable and rigorous approach to understanding human experiences and social phenomena.
