Goal: To provide pre/post conference sessions at the Annual Conference that provides educational opportunities in research for SNRS members and doctoral student members.
Schedule: Call for Pre/Post-Conference Workshops: May 5-July 15, 2024. Acceptance notifications will be sent by email in mid-October.
Policy: Pre-Conference sessions will be held the morning of the first conference day (Wednesday, February 19, 2025) from 8:00am-11:30am prior to the start of the Annual conference sessions and on the last day (Friday, February 21, 2025) from 1:00pm-3:00pm. The pre-conference sessions are three hours long with a 15-minute break. The post-conference sessions are 2 hours long with no break. Pre-conference sessions will be offered to registrants at an additional cost. SNRS reserves the right to cancel a pre-conference session if the paid session registrations do not meet the budget requirements. Post-conference sessions are included in the conference registration. Workshop session topics may include topics related to research designs, methods, dissemination strategies (e.g., publishing), or other topics approved by the governing boards. Speakers for the pre/post-conference sessions will not receive payment for these sessions or be provided funds for travel.
