Welcome from Jake Bush, Chair. My plan for leadership is to continue the fine work of the RIG.
Goals for 2020:
1. Organize a membership roster for communication and networking purposes.
2. Build a culture of networking within the RIG.
4. Communicate with RIG members to determine the direction for 2019-2020.
5. Establish an e-Newsletter for communicating member accomplishments throughout the year.
This Qualitative RIG is dedicated to networking opportunities, peer support, and inspiration to others interested in this area of work and research. Anyone interested in qualitative research feel free to join. Be sure to “sign-up” by logging in to the Members-Only section and choose which RIG(s) to join. There is no fee to participate and you can join up to two RIGs as part of your membership benefits. Additional RIG membership is $15.

I have been practicing nursing since 2006. I have experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, and critical care nursing. In 2016, I graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master of Science in Nursing Education. Shortly after, I made the transition from bedside nursing in the acute care setting to academia at the University of West Florida. At this same time, I began my doctoral education at the University of Central Florida (UCF). I am currently a 2nd year PhD student at UCF. My research interest is Transgender Health.
